Description

The Hydros is a water softener that removes calcium and magnesium from water. Hard water contains many calcium and magnesium ions and this can wreak havoc on all kinds of water-based appliances such as: washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, shower head, faucets, as well as your water heater or heating system. A softener will make these appliances perform better (efficiency), have fewer technical problems and significantly extend their durability.

SOFTENING METHOD

First of all; water filter systems are not capable of descaling the water. For this, you can use a water softener. Salt-based water softeners are the most widely used and effective types of softeners. They come in different sizes and are suitable for almost any home. A salt-based water softener works by sucking heavy minerals in the water, such as calcium and magnesium, into a resin in the softener and exchanging them for sodium (salt). By removing the heavy minerals, the water returns to a healthy neutral state.
